Lutein is part of a family of substances called carotenoids. These are a critical part of the eye's macular pigment. The macula can be depleted through years of exposure to light and oxidative stress, but the lutein in ICaps^® can help compensate for this. You could call lutein 'nature's own sunglasses' because it acts as a kind of optical filter, protecting the eyes against radiation damage.

Lutein also protects the optic nerves from the damaging effects of ageing.

ICaps^® contains the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin to help protect the eyes against the effects of years of exposure to damaging light.

Many supplements contain 100% RDA (Recommended Daily Amount) of vitamins and minerals.
